About the role
Responsibilities
- Proactively generate new business opportunities through cold calling, in-person visits, email campaigns, and professional networking.
- Deliver tailored, consultative technology solutions to SMB customers by understanding their specific business goals and budget constraints.
- Manage a robust sales pipeline and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Utilize CRM tools to track productivity, manage opportunities, and ensure data accuracy.
- Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers to drive retention and satisfaction.
- Represent the company at community and networking events to build brand awareness.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of proven success in B2B sales, including negotiation and closing experience.
- Ability to travel to customer sites 40-60% of the work week.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
- Strong hunter mentality with the ability to identify and penetrate new accounts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Direct experience using Salesforce.
- Familiarity with the telecommunications industry, specifically internet and voice services.
