About the role
About the Company
Maple is building AI agents that work for restaurants. These agents answer calls, take orders, book appointments, and handle real customer interactions over natural voice. We are building automated ontologies that model how businesses actually operate so our agents can adapt to them instantly.
Responsibilities
- Close 7–15 new SMB customers per week through inbound and marketing-qualified leads
- Run fast, consultative sales calls with local business owners across many industries
- Clearly explain Maple’s value and guide customers to the right plan for their business
- Maintain tight follow-up loops to move deals from first call to close quickly
- Collaborate closely with growth, onboarding, and product teams to improve conversion and activation
- Continuously refine sales scripts, objection handling, and demos
- Provide direct feedback from the field to help shape messaging and product decisions
Requirements
- 1–4+ years of experience in SMB sales, inside sales, or high-volume closing roles
- Comfortable running many calls per day in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communicator capable of simplifying complex ideas
- Competitive, resilient, and motivated by clear goals
- Organized and process-oriented but adaptable to rapid change
- Ability to work ~70 hrs/week in-person in NYC
