Smart Home Sales Consultant

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and guide customers through the sales process, including processing orders and offering financing options
• Act as a subject matter expert for appliances, electronics, and in-home smart technology
• Drive category growth through prospecting, generating referrals, and outside sales acquisition
• Follow up with customers to track back-orders and build long-term relationships
• Maintain showroom presentation and manage daily department operations
• Mentor new associates and collaborate with the team to achieve monthly performance goals

Requirements

• High-School diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous retail sales experience in the appliance or electronics category
• Knowledge of smart home technology, appliances, and electronics
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Suite
• Ability to work a flexible 40-hour week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting on the showroom floor

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience specifically in appliance sales
