Small Works Estimator

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, and attend pre-bid meetings to define scope
• Price out Mechanical, Plumbing, and Small Works quotes
• Develop and validate cost estimates including risks, contingencies, and indirect costs
• Collaborate with Operations and partners to support pricing strategy
• Contribute to improving estimating tools, models, and processes
• Perform post-bid and job cost analysis to drive continuous improvement
• Support presentations and proposal development

Requirements

• Technical training in construction or equivalent estimating experience
• Experience pricing HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and architectural work
• Ability to read and interpret building specifications and blueprints
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience in small works, institutional, or commercial construction environments
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Ability to manage fluctuating workloads and meet deadlines
