Small Commercial Direct Bill Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for customers by handling billing inquiries, taking payments, and assisting with portal navigation.
• Provide excellent customer service via incoming telephone calls, text chats, and email in a high-volume contact center environment.
• Analyze information to make appropriate decisions and solve problems while maintaining a professional phone experience.
• Efficiently navigate multiple systems and applications to research and resolve customer requests and concerns.
• Maintain established levels of productivity, service, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members and business partners to provide a quality experience for agents.
• Comply with corporate policies, regulatory standards (SOX), and business processes (PCI).
• Cross-sell products to provide the most beneficial experience for clients.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience.
• Experience in a high-volume call center environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and multi-application navigation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic mathematical calculation skills (percentages, addition, and subtraction).
• Ability to work a 40-hour week on a scheduled shift, including rotational Saturday hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree or currently pursuing a degree.
• Previous experience in a high-volume contact center with a focus on superior service.
