Slitter Production Associate

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of slitting painted metal including setup, operation, and inspection
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all assigned tasks
• Perform quality checks at required intervals to ensure product specifications are met
• Complete production records, safety checklists, and quality documentation accurately
• Manage waste generation and segregation of recyclable and hazardous materials
• Take corrective action to minimize equipment downtime and scrap generation

Requirements

• Previous machine operator, manufacturing, or maintenance experience
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematics
• Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs continuously above shoulder and below waist height
• Capability for extensive standing, bending, lifting, pulling, and walking
• Manual dexterity and ability to concentrate for sustained periods
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
