Slinger/Signaller

Responsibilities

• Attach and detach loads from lifting equipment
• Ensure the correct use of all lifting accessories and equipment
• Direct the safe movement of equipment and loads using radio or hand signals
• Follow the established lifting plan and relay any concerns immediately to the Crane Supervisor
• Perform pre-work checks on all relevant lifting equipment
• Adhere strictly to all Health and Safety procedures

Requirements

• Blue CPCS A40 (Slinger) qualification – All Types All Duties
• Significant professional experience as a Slinger/Signaller
• Proven experience working on tunnelling projects

Preferred Qualifications

• In-date Safety Critical Medical certificate
