About the role
Responsibilities
- Attach and detach loads from lifting equipment
- Ensure correct use of lifting accessories and equipment
- Direct safe movement of equipment and loads using radio or hand signals
- Follow the established lifting plan and relay concerns to the Crane Supervisor
- Perform checks on all relevant lifting equipment before work begins
- Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures
Requirements
- Blue CPCS A40 (Slinger) – All Types All Duties
- Significant experience as a Slinger/Signaller
- Experience working on tunnelling projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Tunnel Entry & Emergency Procedures (TEEPS) Training
- Tunnel Safety Training Scheme (TSTS)
- In-date Safety Critical Medical
