About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized support for interns during rotations to acquire marketable skills
- Perform task analysis and develop accommodations or assistive technology needs
- Communicate effectively with instructors, families, and employer mentors
- Assist with Vocational Fit Assessments to match interns with appropriate tasks
- Train students in grooming, hygiene, communication, and interviewing skills
- Provide travel training to host businesses and job sites when necessary
- Implement job coaching plans and use positive reinforcement techniques
- Adhere to host business standards regarding productivity and quality
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- OR Associate's degree plus 3 years of experience
- OR High School diploma plus 6 years of experience
- Experience with youth and adults with disabilities is preferred
