Responsibilities

• Perform proactive maintenance on major appliances and home systems including filter replacements and battery checks
• Execute home repairs such as mounting artwork, patching drywall, touch-up painting, and adjusting fixtures
• Handle basic electrical and plumbing tasks including installing light fixtures, thermostats, faucets, and clearing clogged drains
• Assist with property management tasks like package pickup, mail collection, and hanging holiday lights

Requirements

• Experience in a handyman, property maintenance, or technician role
• Strong knowledge of repair and maintenance techniques with high attention to detail
• Possession of own general tools and a reliable vehicle for travel around the Berkeley area
• Clean background check and valid driver's license
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for homeowner interaction
