About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist with developing activity plans prescribed by the resident’s physician in compliance with State of California regulations
- Provide mental, physical, and emotional care to skilled nursing residents based on individual needs
- Act as a van driver to escort residents to and from non-emergency medical appointments and activities
Requirements
- Active Driver's license
- Ability to drive a Ford Transit Van
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to obtain American Heart BLS CPR and AED certification within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in art, music, or recreational therapy
- Professional driving experience
- Working towards completion of 36 hours of training for the SNF Activity Director position
