Skilled Home Caregiver/HCA

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with personal care, hygiene, and ambulation
• Prepare nutritious meals and perform light housekeeping tasks
• Assist with medication reminders and transport clients to outings or errands
• Follow established care plans and document progress through accurate charting
• Offer meaningful companionship to clients to improve their quality of life

Requirements

• Health Care Aide (HCA) certificate or equivalent (e.g., nursing student or foreign-trained nurse)
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it
• Valid Criminal Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector or willingness to obtain it
• Ability to travel locally within the Greater Vancouver Area
• Access to a smartphone and internet for documentation and communication
• Ability to commute to shifts in Port Coquitlam and Pitt Meadows
