About the role

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and assembly guidelines
  • Assemble and test products through various manufacturing stages, including air under water and safety proof testing
  • Fabricate and finish aluminium and steel products
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, TPM, and quality clinics
  • Maintain material traceability and adhere to strict quality control standards
  • Follow all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) requirements
  • Work flexible rotating shifts (Morning and Afternoon)

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent vocational qualification in fabrication, sheet metal work, or engineering
  • Proficiency with precision tools such as Vernier calipers, digital calipers, or measuring gauges
  • Demonstrated experience in hand fabrication and sheet metal work
  • Proven ability to meet high tolerance standards (e.g., to a thousandth of an inch)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the aerospace or motorsport industries
