Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, rolls and sweets from scratch
- Follow and maintain consistency with established recipes and production schedules
- Mix, shape, proof, and bake doughs with attention to quality and timing
- Monitor ovens and adjust baking conditions as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are strictly followed
- Assist with inventory tracking and ingredient preparation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a baker in a commercial bakery or restaurant
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, fermentation, and dough handling
- Ability to work independently during early morning hours (starting as early as 12:00 AM)
- Ability to perform physically demanding work including standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 kg
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Food Safe certification or willingness to obtain
