SkillBridge Program

Responsibilities

• Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment
• Use technology including laptops and tablets comfortably
• Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
• Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed
• Maintain electronic documentation of work performed via work orders
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be transitioning Active Duty US Military
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work standard shifts (e.g., Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm or 6am-3pm)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements
• USMAP certifications in Diesel Mechanic, Construction Equipment Mechanic, or Industrial Maintenance
