Ski Valet

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, accurate and appropriate storage and retrieval of winter sports equipment
• Greet guests and maintain a friendly and helpful attitude
• Maintain clean and organized shop and facility operations
• Answer guest equipment-related queries and resort information
• Acquire and retain detailed Rental and Retail product knowledge
• Run skis and snowboards over waxing equipment when required
• Comply with risk management and indemnification procedures

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand, walk, or be on feet for extended periods
• Ability to frequently lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
• Proficiency in communicating clearly verbally and in writing
• Ability to work independently and in team settings

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year previous rental shop experience
• 1 year previous customer service experience
• Bi-lingual language skills (Spanish, Portuguese, French)
• Ability to pass ski manufacturers' binding certification
