About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operation and maintenance of multiple facilities
- Ensure contractually agreed quality, audit, and compliance obligations are met
- Coordinate external contractors for repairs and maintenance projects
- Estimate labour, material, and equipment required for maintenance works
- Maintain technical information, regulatory compliance records, and licensing
- Manage maintenance management software (CMMS)
- Review quality and safety procedures to ensure adequate control
- Develop supporting Quality/Safety Toolkits for the contract
- Liaison for all internal and external audits
Requirements
- BESO I or II, SMT, Fourth Class Power Engineer (NS certified), or equivalent
- HVACR and refrigeration licensing (HRAI, ODP) as applicable
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial or institutional building operations
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and BAS systems
- Ability to obtain secret level security clearance (Canadian citizenship required)
