About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day supervision, coaching, and support to Housing Navigators.
- Oversee daily housing navigation activities, including housing search, landlord engagement, and move-in coordination.
- Coordinate with Cardea Health and on-site partners to ensure integrated service delivery and smooth site operations.
- Monitor site-level performance metrics related to housing placements and documentation quality.
- Ensure accurate and timely HMIS data entry and maintenance of electronic case files.
- Facilitate case conferencing and team meetings to address participant barriers and problem-solving.
- Maintain strong working relationships with landlords, housing authorities, and community partners.
Requirements
- High school diploma required (Bachelor’s degree in Social Services or related field preferred).
- 1 year of experience providing direct support services to individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health, or substance abuse issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
- Valid California driver license and a reliable personal vehicle.
- Ability to maintain a calm demeanor and provide effective crisis intervention in stressful situations.
- Ability to pass criminal records clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in real estate, property management, or housing support.
- Experience using the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS).
- Certification in CPR/First Aid.
