Site Superintendent/Environmental Manager

Responsibilities

• Direct, manage, and coordinate all subcontractor and trade work to meet project specifications
• Maintain project schedules through planning, monitoring, and inspecting work
• Prepare schedules, pay estimates, and 3-week look aheads
• Inspect trade work to ensure quality meets plans and specifications
• Implement Government-approved Environmental Protection Plans (EPP)
• Manage waste segregation, storage, and Satellite Accumulation areas
• Maintain environmental records, permits, and compliance documentation
• Coordinate OSHA practices applicable to environmental work

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 10 years of recent construction experience
• 5 years as a Superintendent on federal construction renovation projects in Alaska
• Experience with hazard identification and safety compliance
• Experience working with environmental regulatory agencies (e.g., ADEC)
• Familiarity with 29 CFR 1910 and 29 CFR 1926
• Knowledge of USACE Three Phases of Quality Control and EM 385-1-1
• CPR/First Aid certification
• 30-hour and 10-hour Construction Safety and 8-hour OSHA Supervisor certificates
• Valid Driver’s License (REAL ID compliant)
• Ability to obtain and hold US Government clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous asbestos abatement experience
• 2 years of experience as an onsite QC Manager
• 1 year of experience as an onsite Safety Officer
