Site Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Review structural shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and structural calculations
• Conduct daily site inspections for shoring, piling, foundations, columns, slabs, shear walls, and core structures
• Verify reinforcement, formwork, concrete works, and structural steel elements
• Issue and follow up on NCRs, SORs, and site observations
• Coordinate with designers, contractors, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues
• Prepare daily and weekly reports on progress, quality, and compliance
• Ensure adherence to Dubai Municipality, DDA/Trakhees, Civil Defense, and project HSE requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil or Structural Engineering
• Mandatory consultancy experience
• Minimum 12 years of structural engineering experience
• At least 5 years of experience in Dubai
• Strong background in high-rise residential and/or hotel projects
• Proven experience in structural submittals review and site inspections
• Excellent knowledge of Dubai Building Code, ACI, BS, and international standards
• Proficiency in structural design programs, CAD, and Revit
