Site Senior Planner

Responsibilities

• Liaise with project teams and sub-contractors regarding trends and forecasting
• Perform continuous analysis of project activities and 'S' curves against plan
• Produce and issue monthly planning reports to the Project Manager
• Establish project networks, critical paths, and baseline schedules
• Integrate sub-contractor and vendor programmes into the project network
• Develop plans to address project slippages or changing project scopes
• Manage KPA's of planning resources on large projects
• Monitor interfaces during shutdowns and tie-ins to ensure project commitments are met

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in EPCM, Construction, or Engineering environments
• Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
• Strong knowledge of project life cycle phases and risk analysis
• Understanding of commercial principles and contract types
• Knowledge of cost engineering principles including total cost and quality management
• Ability to manage change effectively during project execution

Preferred Qualifications

• Grade 12 qualification
• Minimum 3 years qualification in Engineering or Construction
• PMI or AACEI certification
