Site Selection Manager

About the Company

Fluidstack is focused on delivering massive scale compute infrastructure for AI. The company acquires power, designs and builds data centers, and operates them to support the rapid expansion of frontier AI models.

Responsibilities

• Lead site procurement strategy for the US data center portfolio
• Source and evaluate powered land for large-scale development
• Negotiate leases with data center operators, landowners, and developers
• Conduct site due diligence including utility assessment, title docs, surveys, and environmental studies
• Evaluate permitting requirements and their impact on construction schedules
• Maintain relationships with brokers and developers
• Work with DC Design to match sites to technical requirements
• Partner with Finance on infrastructure investment and cost structures

Requirements

• Experience in real estate focusing on data centers or large industrial projects
• Proven track record of closing large, complex deals
• Ability to assess land viability regarding power, buildability, and permitting
• Ability to travel 20%+ as required by projects
• Strong ownership and proactive problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with behind-the-meter power evaluation
• Experience with hyperscale-scale land deals
• Familiarity with utility interconnection
• Experience in multi-region portfolio planning
