Site Safety Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with safety rules and safe working practices
• Monitor high‑risk activities such as working at height, lifting operations, hot works, confined space works, and energy isolation (LOTO)
• Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors and issue corrective actions
• Review and verify subcontractors’ method statements, JHAs, and risk assessments
• Ensure workers possess valid training certificates, PPE, and authorization
• Maintain safety logs, inspection reports, incident records, and permit-to-work documentation
• Report and assist in investigating incidents, near-misses, and unsafe observations
• Implement corrective and preventive actions in coordination with the HSE team
• Support emergency response drills and ensure emergency equipment is in proper condition
• Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and hazard communication sessions
• Educate workers on safe practices, hazard identification, and equipment handling
• Promote a strong site safety culture through engagement and proactive communication

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Construction, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in construction site safety, preferably in industrial, logistics, or manufacturing projects
• Knowledge of Vietnamese safety regulations and relevant standards
• Ability to identify hazards, enforce rules, and communicate clearly with workers at all levels
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid safety certifications such as First Aid, Fire Safety, or Confined Space Entry
