Site Risk & Due Diligence Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead technical site due diligence projects to guide the expansion of AWS infrastructure in new and existing regions.
• Scope, contract, and supervise engineering, environmental, and technical studies.
• Manage project budgets, establish schedules, and escalate technical risks to ensure timely delivery.
• Own multidisciplinary preliminary designs for sites, ensuring consistency with AWS design standards and technical specifications.
• Evaluate the impact of site risks and constraints on development costs and schedules.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to make site acquisition, design, and technology recommendations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
• Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to network, data center, hardware, and software.
• Experience with various scenarios of infrastructure builds.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading due diligence, design, engineering, or land development for large infrastructure projects.
• Master's degree in an engineering or scientific discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Licensed professional engineer or Architect with an accredited institute.
