Site Reliability/Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own reliability across GCP infrastructure, including Kubernetes clusters, managed services, and data pipelines
• Lead end-to-end incident response, including on-call rotations, runbooks, and postmortems
• Architect and execute database scaling strategies such as sharding and replication for MySQL and Postgres
• Manage and evolve Terraform-managed GCP environments and Kubernetes configurations
• Own Elasticsearch cluster management, including capacity planning, sharding, and performance tuning
• Build and maintain observability through metrics, dashboards, alerting, and tracing
• Improve CI/CD reliability and delivery pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Harden IAM, secrets management, and network segmentation

Requirements

• Deep, hands-on experience scaling and sharding relational databases in production environments
• Extensive knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Kubernetes, VPC, and IAM
• Proficiency in Terraform and managing infrastructure-as-code at scale
• Production experience operating and maintaining Elasticsearch clusters
• Experience with GitHub Actions in a production CI/CD environment
• Strong incident response skills and the ability to communicate clearly under pressure
• Experience working in high-growth startup or scale-up environments
