Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Identity Access Management IAM

Responsibilities

• Ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of Identity Access Management (IAM) systems through proactive monitoring and capacity planning.
• Resolve, analyze, and respond to system outages and disruptions, implementing measures to prevent recurrence.
• Develop tools and scripts to automate operational processes, reducing manual workload and increasing system resilience.
• Monitor and optimize system performance and resource usage to identify and address bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate reliability, scalability, and performance best practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Drive reliability best practices across engineering teams and embed SRE principles into the DevSecOps lifecycle.

Requirements

• Experience designing, implementing, and running highly available, fault-tolerant, and auto-scaling systems.
• Strong expertise in AWS (essential) and Kubernetes (ECS is essential).
• Experience with server-less architectures and continuous delivery for large-scale, cloud-based microservices.
• Hands-on coding experience in Python, Bash, and JSON/Yaml (Configuration as Code).
• Proven ability to manage disaster recovery and zero-downtime solutions for distributed API services.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure or GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
• Knowledge of Fargate or GCE.
• Hands-on configuration and operation of ForgeRock or Ping Identity solutions (e.g., PingGateway, PingAM, PingIDM, PingDS).
• Understanding of embedded security gates, HTTP header signing, and PKI-based identity.
