Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day system alerts and health checks to maintain high availability for our mission-critical SaaS platform.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and lead incident response processes to ensure fast mitigation of production issues.
• Perform thorough Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and lead blameless post-mortems to prevent issue recurrence.
• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and Helm.
• Automate routine operational tasks to eliminate toil and increase team efficiency.
• Maintain and evolve CI/CD deployment pipelines and manage containerized environments.
• Implement comprehensive observability strategies across metrics, logs, and traces using Datadog, Grafana, and Prometheus.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer with deep knowledge of the AWS ecosystem and IAM.
• Proficiency with container orchestration, specifically EKS/Kubernetes.
• Demonstrable experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Helm.
• Working experience with Docker and maintaining systems using Docker Swarm.
• Expertise in managing logging and monitoring solutions (Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus).
• Proficiency in Linux environments and strong scripting skills in Bash and/or Python.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, Systems Architecture, and Databases.
• Experience in Product/Application Support for high-availability SaaS products.
