Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain the reliability and performance of large-scale fintech infrastructure
• Implement best practices and IT operations to ensure always-up, always-available services
• Utilize open source technologies and cloud services to manage production environments
• Participate actively in the on-call rotation schedule to support service uptime
• Manage and troubleshoot Linux networking, including IP, iptables, and IPsec

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Linux/Unix administration
• Strong proficiency in computer networking
• Hands-on experience with private cloud environments
• Proficiency in scripting and coding with Python, Perl, or Golang
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools like SaltStack
• Working experience with MySQL databases (MariaDB or Percona experience is a plus)
• Effective communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing cloud services on Linux using KVM/QEMU
• Familiarity with container orchestration technology
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases, specifically Aerospike
• Understanding of Galera cluster operations
• Experience with data center related activities
