Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain the reliability and performance of large-scale fintech infrastructure
• Implement best practices in IT operations to ensure always-up, always-available services
• Utilize open source technologies and cloud services to manage production environments
• Automate tasks and manage configurations using tools like SaltStack
• Participate actively in the on-call rotation schedule to support service uptime
• Work effectively with MySQL, MariaDB, or Percona databases

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Linux/Unix administration
• Strong proficiency in computer networking (IP, iptables, IPsec)
• Hands-on experience with cloud services and private cloud environments
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Perl, or Golang
• Experience with automation and configuration management
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Availability for on-call rotations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing cloud services on Linux using KVM/QEMU
• Familiarity with container orchestration technology
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases, specifically Aerospike
• Understanding of Galera cluster operations
• Experience with data center related activities
