Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Host critical infrastructure ensuring high availability across tens of thousands of pods and multiple clusters
• Implement automatic, fast auto-scaling for live rides and large-scale events
• Provide a scalable platform for machine learning and other diverse workloads
• Serve as a domain expert in observability and monitoring
• Consult on system design to meet reliability and capacity requirements
• Automate infrastructure and day-to-day operational tasks
• Conduct timely post-mortems of infrastructure incidents
• Assist with operational security, compliance, and threat mitigation

Requirements

• Experience maintaining scalable and stable Kubernetes clusters
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring best practices for Kubernetes at scale
• Knowledge of securing Kubernetes clusters and deployments at scale
• Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, Harness, or Tekton
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Pulumi
• Proficiency in a programming language such as Python, Golang, Java, or C
• Strong understanding of root-cause analysis and triage
