Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, scale, and maintain highly available, multi-region, or active-active cloud infrastructure patterns.
• Lead critical incident response efforts and participate in real on-call rotations.
• Drive comprehensive, blameless post-mortems to continuously harden the system.
• Write clean, production-grade automation code in Python, Go, or similar for infrastructure tooling and systems integration.
• Balance rapid deployment velocity with robust infrastructure safety and stability.
• Raise engineering and operational standards through modern tooling and technical mentorship.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/OpenTofu), network topology, and high-availability architecture.
• Proven track record of building foundational infrastructure and running high-availability environments.
• Advanced proficiency with modern cloud providers (AWS, GCP) and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Strong capacity to operate independently and make sound architectural trade-offs in high-stakes environments.
• Proficiency in Python or Go programming.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with infrastructure security hardening, IAM architecture, or compliance mapping (e.g., SOC2, ISO).
• Hands-on experience managing high-throughput, low-latency data backbones and event streaming systems like Kafka, Redpanda, or PostgreSQL.
• Working understanding of Web3/crypto infrastructure patterns.
