About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality automation solutions to solve complex business challenges.
  • Ensure the reliability and availability of mission-critical digital banking platforms.
  • Provide L2/L3 production support, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution.
  • Define and monitor Critical User Journeys (CUJs) to bridge business requirements and technical implementation.
  • Build actionable application support dashboards for both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Contribute to all stages of software delivery within a cross-functional agile operational team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting mission-critical applications (99.9% uptime), preferably in banking or finance.
  • Deep observability expertise, specifically with New Relic (APM, Infrastructure, Logs, Synthetics, NRQL).
  • Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) monitoring and resource hierarchy.
  • Proven experience in L2/L3 production support and problem management.
  • Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, or Geneos.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and version control via GitHub.
  • Solid understanding of Microservices architecture, APIs, and application integration patterns.
  • Experience working with Oracle Databases and SQL.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure in production environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of SLI/SLO concepts and production stability best practices.
  • Familiarity with middleware and messaging technologies such as IBM MQ, JMS, Kafka, or Solace.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks.
