Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work in a hybrid Systems Engineer and Software Developer capacity to manage global infrastructure and colocation footprints
• Architect, build, and maintain streaming monitoring tools, real-time packet analysis systems, and automation frameworks
• Adopt an ops-first approach to improve platform quality, efficiency, and resilience
• Design alerting and observability systems based on business and team requirements
• Perform deep-dive debugging on low-level performance issues within complex software stacks

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Python and Go
• Strong expertise in Linux environments
• Knowledge of streaming systems architecture and design
• Experience with message/streaming queues such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Working knowledge of Rust or C/C++
• Experience with big data/columnar data stores (e.g., Bigtable, Clickhouse, Cassandra) and time series databases
• Proficiency with CI/CD systems, version control, and Kubernetes/container orchestration
• Proven ability to tackle complex infrastructure challenges in a reliability capacity

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Rust
• Prior exposure to Arista or Cisco hardware
• Knowledge of routing protocols and network design
