Site Reliability Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and optimize mission-critical cloud infrastructure and applications using automation and AI capabilities.
• Implement infrastructure, configuration, and network as code for applications and platforms.
• Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate incident triage, troubleshooting, and post-incident analysis.
• Collaborate with software engineers to design and implement deployment and reliability approaches using automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Proactively address issues using service level indicators (SLIs) and objectives (SLOs) to prevent customer impact.
• Support the adoption of SRE best practices using modern technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, and Kubernetes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of applied Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java/Spring Boot, or .Net.
• Strong understanding of SRE principles, including SLI, SLO, SLA, and error budgets.
• Experience with observability and telemetry collection using tools like Grafana, Splunk, Prometheus, or Datadog.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tooling.
• Knowledge of container orchestration and troubleshooting common networking technologies.
• Ability to use AI capabilities to support SRE workflows while maintaining data sensitivity and security standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years in an SRE or production support role specifically with AWS Cloud, Databricks, or Snowflake.
• Professional AWS and Databricks certifications.
