Site Reliability Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and optimize applications and cloud infrastructure through code to improve availability, reliability, and scalability.
• Design and implement deployment approaches using automated continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Implement infrastructure, configuration, and network as code for applications and platforms.
• Utilize service level indicators (SLIs) and objectives (SLOs) to proactively resolve issues before they impact customers.
• Collaborate with software engineers and technical experts to resolve complex problems and support SRE best practices.
• Guide and assist team members in building appropriate level designs and gaining technical consensus.

Requirements

• 3+ years of applied software engineering experience and formal training in software engineering concepts.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java/Spring Boot, or .Net.
• Experience with observability tools for telemetry collection and monitoring (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Dynatrace, or Datadog).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Terraform.
• Familiarity with container orchestration technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, or ECS.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting common networking technologies and issues.
• Strong ability to work in large, collaborative teams with limited supervision.

• Proven interest in learning and implementing solutions that ensure design constraints are met.
• Ability to initiate and implement original ideas to solve complex business problems.
