Site Reliability Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Solve complex business problems by configuring, maintaining, and optimizing applications and cloud infrastructure through code.
• Design and implement deployment approaches using automated continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Implement infrastructure, configuration, and network as code for applications and platforms.
• Utilize service level indicators and objectives to proactively resolve issues before they impact customers.
• Collaborate with software engineers and technical experts to design solutions for availability, reliability, and scalability.
• Support the adoption of site reliability engineering best practices within the team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of applied software engineering experience and formal training in software engineering concepts.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java/Spring Boot, or .Net.
• Experience with observability tools including Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Dynatrace, or Datadog.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Terraform.
• Familiarity with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, or ECS.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting common networking technologies and issues.
• Strong ability to contribute to large, collaborative teams with limited supervision.

• Ability to proactively recognize roadblocks and demonstrate interest in learning innovative technologies.
• Ability to identify new technologies and relevant solutions to ensure design constraints are met.
• Proven ability to initiate and implement ideas to solve complex business problems.
