Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automation of new and existing infrastructure
• Automate operational tasks to eliminate toil using software development skills
• Ensure systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Participate in technical design of architecture and decision-making
• Support project delivery, operational excellence, and incident management through on-call rotations
• Maintain and improve platform components and business-as-usual tasks

Requirements

• Experience with at least one programming language (Python, Ruby, Golang, etc.)
• Experience with IaC tooling such as Terraform
• Experience with cloud computing providers like AWS or GCP
• Experience with containerized applications
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, etc.)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.)
• Experience with relational databases and high availability optimization
• Awareness of DevOps and Agile principles
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Terraform automation tools like Terragrunt or Atlantis
• Experience with container orchestration such as Kubernetes and GKE
