Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure system availability, latency, performance, efficiency, and capacity planning
• Apply chaos engineering principles to design tests, demonstrate system behavior, and implement remediation plans
• Utilize DevOps and GitOps practices to improve automation and enable self-service capabilities
• Safeguard reliability by ensuring services are highly available, resilient, and self-healing
• Run "game days" to test reliability assumptions and identify potential failures before they impact customers
• Build systems to proactively monitor the health, performance, and security of virtualized infrastructure
• Improve monitoring and alerting systems to optimize engineer response times
• Troubleshoot complex system and network issues in collaboration with Technical Operations
• Develop runbooks and improve technical documentation to evolve SDLC practices

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/Management Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a reliability or operations role

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Public and Private Clouds
• Proficiency with tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, OpenShift, Kubernetes, or AWS EKS
