Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage configuration for new and existing trading platforms, including executing daily change tickets for production and disaster recovery systems.
• Serve as a technical responder for production incidents during US Global Trading Hours, participating in triage, root cause analysis, and resolution.
• Maintain high availability of low-latency bare-metal infrastructure, including Linux OS tuning and kernel-bypass networking stacks.
• Analyze technical data sets such as order entry and market data logs to troubleshoot issues and perform data analysis using SQL.
• Drive capacity planning decisions and support the automation of system health tasks using Python.
• Participate in weekend testing, including capacity and fail-over testing, and provide follow-the-sun on-call support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven expertise in Technical Operations and UNIX Shell proficiency.
• Strong background in Software Engineering or Systems, Network, or Database Administration.
• Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or C++.
• Fluency in English with the ability to communicate clearly across different time zones and technical disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with European markets and US equities, options, or futures market structures.
