Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance hybrid AWS cloud environments, specifically within PCI-DSS compliant financial services.
• Implement CI/CD pipeline automation across various functional areas.
• Manage AWS workload automation, including infrastructure provisioning and custom software configuration rollouts.
• Implement observability solutions for hybrid cloud-based environments.
• Troubleshoot low-latency and Java-based applications within an SRE context.
• Apply Platform Engineering principles and follow the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of hands-on DevOps experience in a hybrid AWS cloud environment.
• Proven experience working with PCI-DSS compliant systems, preferably in the financial sector.
• Strong expertise in AWS services including EC2, RDS, EKS, ECS, and AWS CDK.
• Proficiency with observability tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Splunk, AppDynamics, or ELK.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms like Harness, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
• Deep understanding of networking principles and protocols.
• Experience troubleshooting Java-based applications and managing Linux/Windows Server environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Scripting proficiency in Python or Bash.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like AWS CloudFormation or Ansible.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Zabbix or middleware such as ActiveMQ and WebLogic.
• AWS Certifications (SysOps Administrator or Solutions Architect – Associate).
