Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Identify repetitive tasks and develop automation via CI/CD pipelines to reduce manual intervention
• Implement observability solutions for logs, metrics, traces, and alerts using the four Golden Signals
• Participate in on-call rotations and conduct post-incident reviews to minimize MTTR
• Design and implement secure, compliant solutions in collaboration with security teams
• Resolve performance bottlenecks and track KPIs such as system uptime and cost efficiency
• Act as a technical advisor for tenants regarding containerization and cloud-native deployments
• Maintain detailed playbooks, runbooks, and technical documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer with a background in containerization and orchestration
• Deep understanding of AWS, Kubernetes (including AWS EKS), and operational best practices
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Kustomize, Helm, and automation scripting in Go, Python, or Bash
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD and ArgoCD
• Experience with observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues in containerized applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
• Experience developing Kubernetes operators using Go
• Experience with service mesh technologies and Chaos Engineering
