Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver highly scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure to power applications and services used by Apple’s customers.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, business leaders, and partners to implement new solutions.
• Implement infrastructure as code, automation, and intelligent monitoring systems.
• Troubleshoot application-specific, network, system, and performance issues in production during on-call rotations.
• Build automation tools to deliver infrastructure services reliably and in a repeatable fashion.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in designing and building resilient, large-scale, low-latency cloud and on-prem infrastructure (Compute, Storage, and Network).
• Deep expertise in building, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters using Spinnaker and Helm.
• Experience in monitoring using Splunk, ELK stack, Grafana, Prometheus, or Alertmanager.
• Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud architecture and building secure Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency in Linux Shell Scripting, Python, or Terraform.
• Experience with Cassandra, MongoDB, Couchbase databases, or AWS S3.
• Experience deploying and supporting Java applications.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols including DNS, TCP, and HTTP/HTTPS.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
