Site Reliability Engineer 2

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack including hardware, software, application, and network
• Improve reliability and performance of distributed systems and containerized deployments
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex distributed systems handling millions of queries per second
• Design, build, and maintain core infrastructure to support high concurrency
• Drive performance testing, capacity planning, and high availability practices
• Proactively monitor, identify, and solve infrastructure issues
• Participate in on-call rotations

Requirements

• 4-7 years of hands-on experience in Linux/Unix System Administration
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancers
• Expertise in managing and scaling proxy infrastructure (e.g., Nginx, HAProxy)
• Knowledge of database technologies including MySQL and NoSQL (Aerospike preferred)
• In-depth knowledge of Python for task automation
• Knowledge of Linux cloud services using kvm/qemu/lvm
