Site Reliability Developer (SRE)

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth production operations in AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud environments alongside development teams.
• Lead large-scale production incident response and conduct thorough postmortems.
• Define operational and security policies, standards, and processes for development teams.
• Guide teams in establishing, monitoring, and achieving service level agreements (SLAs) through SLIs and SLOs.
• Drive an operational excellence culture by simplifying and automating activities and processes.
• Develop automation tools and assist in debugging complex production issues using programming skills.
• Champion security and operational best practices across global development teams.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go programming.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, networking, and microservice architectures.
• Deep knowledge of automation and "everything-as-code" principles.
• Experience with infrastructure tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub.
• Proven ability to lead production incident response and communicate effectively during troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, and monitoring.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with New Relic, Lambda, Serverless, or Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with Docker, Spark, Flink, or Artifactory.
• Experience with chaos engineering and automated self-healing operations.
