Site Quality Warranty Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead site warranty management, including claim analysis, approvals, and adherence to company procedures
• Manage warranty systems, ERP workflows, and RGA/RMA processes
• Analyze warranty data to identify trends, defect modes, costs, and improvement opportunities
• Oversee customer support for warranty-related issues and ensure timely, accurate resolutions
• Drive root-cause analysis using 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, FTA, and other quality tools
• Lead cross-functional team actions and support supplier recovery efforts through cost negotiation
• Maintain complete documentation of warranty case files, test results, and corrective actions
• Prepare monthly KPI dashboards, warranty cost analyses, and MBR reports
• Participate in hands-on product tear-downs, testing, and technical investigations
• Ensure compliance with ISO and IATF standards and support internal and external audits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive or battery quality, warranty, or service engineering
• Proficiency with ERP systems and warranty claim portals
• Skilled in RCA tools including 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, and FTA
• Experienced with PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plans
• Strong data analysis skills using Excel (lookups, pivots, Power Query) and BI tools (Power BI or Tableau)
• Ability to write clear technical reports and failure analyses
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% and work on-site in Elkhart, IN
