Site Quality Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Quality Control (QC) laboratory, overseeing daily operations, team performance, and resource allocation
• Establish, maintain, and continuously improve quality control systems, policies, and procedures
• Define and implement sampling plans, testing methods, and laboratory protocols for raw materials and finished products
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements
• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to maintain quality standards and resolve issues
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Oversee food safety programs, including environmental monitoring and facility inspections
• Lead customer audits, internal audits, and regulatory inspections

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or a related scientific discipline
• 10+ years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or laboratory management
• Experience in food, beverage, or chemical manufacturing environments
• Demonstrated experience managing QC laboratories, teams, and testing programs
• Experience with Safe Quality Food (SQF) audits and certification processes
• Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and GMP requirements
• Proven experience leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading food safety or environmental monitoring programs
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and customer audit expectations in food manufacturing
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and quality culture initiatives
