Site Protective Services Officer

Responsibilities

• Protect life and property through routine patrol, preliminary investigation, and entry control point operations
• Provide on-site armed response capability for security incidents and mitigate acts of violence
• Monitor the overall security status of company facilities and the performance of contracted security personnel
• Maintain proficiency with issued firearms and defensive tactics through scheduled training
• Respond to employee queries regarding security and handle/safeguard classified materials
• Direct traffic and provide aid/assistance at accidents or traffic hazards
• Administer first aid and CPR to ill or injured individuals as needed

Requirements

• AA/AS degree or equivalent (2-year post high school training)
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant physical security or law enforcement experience
• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance
• Proven experience with firearms (handgun)
• Experience in tactical response and less-lethal tactics
• Ability to meet State of Arizona legal requirements to possess and carry issued firearms

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Current DoD Secret clearance or higher
• Knowledge of NISPOM, JAFAN, and ICD regulatory documents
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team
