Site Project Manager-SWRO

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations for the SWRO desalination project in Fujairah.
• Coordinate and supervise civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation works.
• Oversee installation of SWRO systems including intake/outfall, pretreatment, RO units, and post-treatment systems.
• Ensure project execution aligns with approved schedules, budgets, and contractual requirements.
• Enforce HSE standards and ensure compliance with company policies and UAE regulations.
• Implement QA/QC procedures and conduct site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives.
• Monitor progress and prepare regular reports on project status, risks, and mitigation actions.
• Manage site resources including manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Support testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 15-20 years of experience in large industrial or infrastructure projects.
• At least 5 years of experience in a Site Manager or similar leadership role.
• Proven experience in SWRO desalination or large-scale water treatment projects.
• Strong knowledge of desalination processes, equipment, and construction practices.
• Familiarity with international standards and codes such as ASME, API, and ISO.
• Experience working on projects in the Middle East, preferably in the UAE.
• Proficiency in project planning and management tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant professional certifications such as PMP or NEBOSH.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
