About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the procurement of construction site materials
- Specify material qualities and prepare purchase orders
- Maintain records of financial and technical offers and supplier evaluation registries
- Monitor delivery schedules from order to receipt
- Ensure adequate material stock levels
- Visit suppliers to select appropriate materials
- Collaborate with the Technical Manager and Project Manager for material and subcontractor selection
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in roadworks, tunnels, or bridges
- Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
- Very good knowledge of MS Office
- Very good knowledge of AutoCAD
