Site Pipeline Operations Permit Writer/Damage Prevention Rep

Responsibilities

• Write safe work permits for daily and project work, including excavations, construction, and maintenance within Site Pipeline areas
• Serve as the Damage Prevention Representative on-site to protect company assets
• Ensure all EH&S rules, policies, and procedures are strictly followed by contractors
• Lead daily tailgate meetings and conduct safety audits
• Verify that all required contractor safety documentation is in place prior to permitting
• Participate in Safety Observation/Intervention programs and respond to site ES&S as needed
• Maintain good housekeeping on the job site

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• 5 or more years of relevant experience
• Valid U.S. Driver's License
• Must possess a TWIC card or be eligible to obtain one
• Ability to work overtime as required
• Ability to pass DOT-regulated drug and alcohol testing
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher, or 3 or more years of military experience
• Experience in pipeline operations, regulatory compliance, DOT, or Damage Prevention
• Excavation Competent Person certification
